Corporate Partnerships Intern
About the Role:
Join The Red Pencil (Singapore) as a Corporate Partnerships Intern and play a key role in supporting our mission to bring the power of creative arts therapy to those in need. This internship offers hands-on experience & valuable exposure to corporate fundraising within the non-profit sector.
Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Corporate Partnerships Intern will support the team in various aspects of donor engagement and fundraising. This includes conducting donor research, preparing proposals, corporate outreach, event coordination events, maintaining donor databases, and assisting in campaign communications. This role offers valuable exposure to corporate fundraising within the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conduct research on potential donors, corporate sponsors, and funding opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications, fundraising proposals, and donor outreach materials.
- Support the planning, organisation, and execution of fundraising events and campaigns (both online and offline).
- Maintain and update donor records in the donation management system (Ka-Ching).
- Provide administrative support to the corporate partnerships team as required.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align fundraising initiatives and collaboration opportunities with organisational goals.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and communication materials to promote fundraising efforts.
Qualifications and Skillset:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in data analysis and compilation is an advantage.
- Prior experience in fundraising or event coordination is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Internship Details:
- Minimum Duration: 3 months
- Work Schedule:
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Hybrid of on and off site)
- Part-time: 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (on-site)
