The Pineapple – UI / UX Intern

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who is eager and committed to make a difference in our products. As our UI/UX Designer, you will report to our Lead Designer to drive digital product design improvements and innovation that will in turn improve user experience. Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and conducting mixed methods user research 

• Translate User Stories and business requirements into effective designs.

• Design sitemaps, wireframe, prototypes, and UI.

• Conceptualize and prototype UI/UX solutions for both web and mobile platforms, ensuring all interactions are easy and intuitive

• Designing style guides, user interfaces, and experiences to be implemented across all platforms.

• Constantly improving the aesthetic and interactivity of our existing mobile and web platform, keeping updated on the latest UI/UX design patterns, ensuring all interactions are easy and intuitive

• Help instill a human-centered and collaborative culture in the company

Requirements

• Diploma/degree in a design-related field

• Excellent command of written and spoken English

• Proficient in prototyping/wireframing tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Experience Design, Invision, etc)

• Knowledge in design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, etc) 

• Takes initiative, great team player, open to feedback, and swift in picking up new concepts and skills
