SG Basketball – Digital Marketing Internship

SG Basketball, manages the largest basketball operations in Singapore and across the region.

SG Basketball: Men’s Division One team, 50+ youth teams, thousands of student-athletes, adult leagues, and ShotZone, which is Singapore’s only dedicated basketball training facility. In addition, SG Basketball also runs the SPBL (nation’s largest youth league, 2,000+ kids weekly) and the Asia Pacific Cup (Asia’s biggest youth tournament with 200 teams & 1M+ Instagram views).

Our Philosophy: Professionally managed, with a full-time coaching staff, partnering with schools to use basketball as a platform to teach resilience, teamwork, leadership, and growth.

Role: Social Media & Marketing Intern

Duration: Flexible

Location: Hybrid – on-site at Shotzone in addition to remote tasks

What You’ll Do: 

• Assist with content creation & social media posting (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)

• Support digital marketing campaigns for leagues & events (SPBL, APC, MPBL)

• Work alongside AI to help manage websites & online platforms (updates, graphics, event results)

• Work with data & analytics to track engagement and reach

• Support event-day media coverage (photos, videos, stories, live updates)

• Tournament and league scheduling

Requirements:

• Polytechnic or JC student (IT, Media, Design, Marketing, or related)

• Comfortable with social media platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube)

• Bonus: Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or basic video editing

• Responsible, creative, and excited about sports/digital content

• Experience with a professional camera is a bonus

• Interest in basketball is a plus but not required
