Job Description

Intern – Finance & Corporate Development

The Lo & Behold Group is looking for an intern to assist with internal finance-related tasks as well as analysis and transaction execution for new business ventures. This person will report directly to the CFO, and his or her work will be visible to the Managing Partner and other members of senior management.


Key responsibilities include:

  • For existing businesses: 
    • Analysis of past financial and operational results 
    • Forecasting and budgeting  
    • Identifying and implementing ways to continually improve processes and procedures
  • For new ventures: 
    • Financial modelling & valuation 
    • Writing investment memos  
    • Reviewing and editing legal documentation 
  • Other tasks as required

The successful candidate should have/be:

  • A positive attitude and drive to live up to our company motto of “Passionate people creating awesome experiences”
  • Motivation to learn about finance, corporate development, and the hospitality industry
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours if required 
  • Careful attention to detail 
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and critical thinking skills 
  • Business-related coursework and/or prior work experience in investment banking or management consulting are a plus (but not required)
