About The Academic Internship Council (AIC)

The Academic Internship Council (AIC) is a multi-national division of The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE - http://www.ciee.org/); a non-profit organization promoting international education, internship and exchange, headquartered in Portland Maine (US). We have on-going partnerships with over 300 universities globally for various educational programs to support students’ learning. AIC specializes in customized, academically-directed internship programmes in Boston, New York City, San Francisco, Toronto, Singapore, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Berlin, Cape Town, Satiago and London. In addition to internship placement and coordination, AIC provides participating universities with program development and management, academic coursework, student accommodation and on-site support, as well as professional development activities.

Main Areas of Services Required

Ad-hoc marketing (non-sales) of AIC Internship Programs to potential employers via phone calls and emails. 

Assist in housing check-ins (if needed), orientation and tourist activities for foreign university students

Co-hosting VIPs (foreign university partners) in their visit to Singapore (if any)

Assist in coordinating with service providers like housing, transport etc
Administrative: Data-entry, printing of materials, collection of materials, collation of evaluations etc

Ad-hoc stand-in for 24-hours phone call standby in case of students’ emergencies. Will need to assist in attending to situation should it be a serious case. Training will be provided, and support will be rendered.
