Job Description

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Process and handle accounts and finance transactions and functions, including receivables, payables, receipts and payments (via trust receipt, cheque, Giro, letter of credit, petty cash etc), bank reconciliations and creditors reconciliations for Singapore entities as well as overseas entities (if any)
  • Assist in monthly management accounts closing and financial reporting for Singapore and overseas entities in adhering to timeline
  • Process the finance records such as fixed asset registers, cash book entries, bank reconciliations, debtor management (collections & invoicing), backcharges, borrowings, interests etc
    • Ensure the transactions processed in compliance to accounting standards, GST regulations and Group internal control procedures
  • Deal with various internal parties such as project teams, purchasing team and other relevant internal parties
    • Liaise with various external parties such as suppliers, subcontractors, bankers, auditors and other relevant third parties
    • Prepare relevant accounts and finance reporting requirement
    • Assist in work related matters and ad hoc assignments


Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or any equivalent professional accountancy qualifications
  • Must possess positive attitude, “To Do” or “Can Do” mindset and willing to work as a team in helping each other
  • Must possess excellent working and communication skills (bilingual in English & Mandarin) to interact effectively with business associates (suppliers, subcontractors, bankers etc)
  • Good interpersonal skills to engage with all levels in the Group
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule during peak period and able to meet tight timeline


Working hours: 8.45am – 6.00pm (Monday to Friday)  


Internship Period: Feb / Mar - May 2019 (at least 3 months of internship period)
