NLP AND R&D TECHNOLOGIES INTERN
The NLP and R&D Intern will be guided to work alongside our NLP engineers to:
- Research and develop Deep Learning Classification problems related to our products
- Research and develop Machine Learning problems related to our products
- Research and develop Computer Vision and OCR technologies related to our products
- Develop solutions that are solving Natural Language Processing problems
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INTERN
The Software Development Intern will be placed across various parts of the software development cycle such as, back-end development, front-end development, quality assurance and R&D to:
- Enhance TAIGER's key product features and assist in project delivery development work
- Collaborate with other interns on a self-managed group project
- Develop and test application testing scripts before project production
- Analyse delivery process and suggest process improvements and documentation from a consulting perspective
- Research new technologies for possible enhancements to TAIGER’s key products
PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERN
The Project Management Intern will function as a Junior Project Manager to:
- Manage a functional development project for one of TAIGER’s key products
- Shadow and assist TAIGER’s project manager in managing ongoing software development projects in a typical software development lifecycle
- Refine project management methodologies for TAIGER projects (e.g Agile and waterfalls for Proof of Concepts and production projects)
- Research standards and best practices for PM process improvements
- Take on a Project Manager role for interns’ self-managed group project
PREREQUISITES
- Prior experience in the following development languages for software development, frontend and NLP teams respectively:
- Java (Maven, Spring)
- JavaScript, VueJS, AngularJS
- Python (Tensorflow, OpenCV, Keras)
- Ability to drive and implement ideas in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and strong analytical skills to solve strategic and difficult business problems
- Proactiveness and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and to collaborate as a team
- Interested in artificial intelligence and software development in an agile startup
