Job Description

Kitchen Assistant (6 Months)


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Demonstrate good customer service and professionalism at all times

- Follow company regulations, policies and procedures

- Practice high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety at all times

- Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils

- Prepare menu compliant with recipes and given standards

- Ensure all food served is consistent in terms of quality, taste and presentation

- Track and date stamps food items

- Minimize food waste

- Ensure food display and counter is always tidy, well maintained and presentable

- Serve customers and complete customer’s transactions

- Prepare beverages and warm food at customer’s request

- Be able to communicate what is organic, gluten or dairy free

- Able to work independently, as well as in a team to achieve targets and maintain standards

- Assist in the retail store during quiet periods and whenever asked


JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ level or equivalent

- Minimum 2-3 years kitchen experience

- Intelligent and self-motivated

- Good verbal skills

- Basic in Microsoft Word/ Excel

- Positive attitude

WORK HOURS
44 hours over 6 days per week
