- Job Description
The Business Development Intern is to work on an existing project called Grow Studio.
Grow Studio is a free online English learning app for migrant workers. Jointly supported by Singapore Management University and National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre, Grow Studio aim to help foreign workers learn English, Healthcare, Finance and other skill so they can improve their career and lifestyle. The courses are covered in a variety of languages coupled with assessments to enable effective learning.
The Business Development Intern is to formulate plans to help Grow Studio outreach to migrant workers and volunteers. Work scope include
- Designing presentation and presenting to potential foreign worker and volunteer associations such as dormitories, schools etc
- Outreach to migrant worker associations and dormitories to build mobile app takeup
- Outreach to SMEs, MNCs to form CSR partnership for the app
- Planning marketing material
- Researching and trialing the mobile and web application
- Coordinating the grants involved in Grow Studio
