Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine formulations and follow-ups on product stability in addition to identify and solve stability issues.
- Develop robust skin care, hair care and HI & I formulations and apply knowledge for processing, operating, and design that affects formulation processes as well as understand the relationship between formulation and product development.
- Perform relevant application methods to evaluate the performance of the product to bench mark against market products.
- You will be responsible for documenting and interpreting data in order to support conclusions with minimal supervision.
- Must meet deadlines to complete the TSR projects.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Good communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and computer skills to complete the projects and to present the results in power-point as a marketing tool.
Results, discussion & conclusion: Students will be required to report the results they generat ed, if they can suggest on improvement on the formulations or evaluation, it would be even better. At the end of the internship, they are required to write report and do oral presentation in Stepan R&D.
Specific requirement:
- Person should have worked earlier on surfactant formulations.
- Should be willing and easy going to take and work on instructions coming from chemists.
- Should know how to write or manage technical data he or she would generate
- Should know to operate basic analytical equipment like pH meter balances ovens
- Preparing specimens and samples
- No skin allergies and other conditions
