Role

As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to experience different financial aspects of the business through active collaboration amongst various department.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping assignment for small companies
• Simple tax computations for small companies
• Prepare GST returns
• Providing assistance with monthly account closing and analysing reports
• Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll using HR management system
• Recording business transactions based on client records onto online accounting softwares such as Xero and Bluesheets
• Other ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by accounting team lead

Qualifications and Skills

• Currently pursuing an ITE/ diploma in Accounting
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially in Excel)
• Positive attitude, with a desire to extend existing skillset and use initiative to solve problems
• Strong and independent team player
• Great attention to details
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, extremely fast-paced tech start-up environment
