Job Description
Role
As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to experience different financial aspects of the business through active collaboration amongst various department.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping assignment for small companies
- Simple tax computations for small companies
- Prepare GST returns
- Providing assistance with monthly account closing and analysing reports
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll using HR management system
- Recording business transactions based on client records onto online accounting softwares such as Xero and Bluesheets
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by accounting team lead
Qualifications and Skills
- Currently pursuing an ITE/ diploma in Accounting
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially in Excel)
- Positive attitude, with a desire to extend existing skillset and use initiative to solve problems
- Strong and independent team player
- Great attention to details
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, extremely fast-paced tech start-up environment
