Sports+Travel Magazine – Web Development Intern

Your internship with Sports+Travel magazine will be focused on the digital aspect of the business. Your job will mainly entail you to run and maintain the website, as well as work on digital marketing efforts. You will also be in charge of examining and interpreting google analytics, this will help our writers to know what content is receiving a lot of traffic and interest. 

Main Job Tasks

Updating Sites: Both our Hong Kong and Singaporean website need to be updated when content comes out. You will need to be able to do this on a frequent basis. 

Assist In Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the rest of the team to develop a digital marketing plan, and use google analytics to help justify your plan.

Other Tasks: Help with the maintenance of the hosting and domain name. Make sure the website and content are streamlined and that it is working at an optimal speed. Other jobs can include helping in marketing campaigns with sales people or the creation of emails. 

You must have the below qualities:

- Comprehensive understanding of the english language both verbal and written, as well as proficient grammatical skills.

- Be familiar with WordPress, hosting, domain names and possible CSS

- Be familiar with current events and news with in Singapore and globally

- Have knowledge and enthusiasm for the travel and adventure sport industry 

- A positive attitude and desire to learn about the publishing industry 

- A recent graduate or university student; final year poly grads will also be considered
