Spinelli Coffee Company originated in San Francisco in 1983 by founders, Christopher Calkins and Arnold Spinelli. They operated retail stores in San Francisco and Marin Country as well as roasting plant. Spinelli Coffee Company supplied more than 20 blends and a variety of premium coffees to hotels, restaurants, cafes and food markets throughout San Francisco Bay Area. In a sophisticated market that places high value on brand names, Spinelli Coffee company, though not the biggest has been consistently rated as the best coffee retailer in San Francisco.
To date, there are over 30 outlets in Singapore, China and Indonesia. Spinelli Coffee Company is proud to be the winner of the prestigious Franchisor of the Year 2010 Award and a nominee for the International Franchisor of the Year 2010.
- Responsible in stocking staple ingredients on a continuous basis.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the company’s preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work area that includes cleaning the work areas like counters, floors, dishes and related equipments and ensures that they are in proper sanitary condition.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Informs Kitchen Manager immediately of any equipments or product problems.
- Assist Sous Cook with food preparation includes prepares vegetables, fruits and food items for use in prepared salads and stock items for salad bar area.
- Inspects received items of food and supplies for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality or orders and complying with mandated health requirements.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager.
