- Job Description
You will be part of the local newsdesk, and get to attend and cover diary events, press briefings, doorstop interviews, conferences, do profile interviews, research for trend stories, and more. You will present your content in a digital-friendly manner, and should include photos, graphics, tables, charts, videos, embedded social media photos, etc. You will get to be part of one (or possibly more) teams, such as Macro & SME, Breaking News, Property, Companies & Markets, Video, and others.
Being able to understand financial statements is a major plus. Thinking on your feet, being able to process information quickly and to write clean copy, and being a news junkie who is always interested to learn more about current affairs and what's happening around the world.
