Job Description

This is a dynamic role for a visually creative marketing or content intern to join our Trade Marketing team. You will be instrumental in elevating our B2B social media presence (primarily Instagram) by transforming our best-performing advertising campaigns into engaging, short-form video content. 

This role is about creative storytelling, taking complex case studies and distilling them into snackable, scroll-stopping videos that drive industry engagement and showcase the strengths of SPH Media.

 

Content Curation & Production: 
Proactively source outstanding campaign case studies and creative work from various SPH Media titles.Video Storytelling: Edit and curate campaign assets (photos, videos, data points) into compelling, short-form video formats suitable for Instagram Reels and Stories.

Social Media Management: Assist in maintaining the social media content calendar and scheduling posts to ensure a consistent and engaging stream of content.

Occasional Filming: Support the team with occasional, light on-site shooting (e.g., short interviews, event snippets) primarily using mobile devices.

Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key engagement metrics (views, shares, saves) to understand what content resonates best with our industry audience.

C. Who we are looking for (Job Profile)
Proven skill in creating and editing short-form video content using mobile editing apps (e.g., CapCut) or user-friendly platforms like Canva.

Familiarity with the latest Instagram Reels trends, features, and best practices.Strong visual storytelling and editing sense (pacing, music, text overlay).

Excellent organizational skills for managing a content pipeline/calendar.

Working Experience:

No prior experience is necessary, but experience creating and managing content for a personal social media account is a strong advantage.

Qualifications: Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
