Responsibilities:
VJs are responsible for Pitches, shoots, edits, and the production of video content for digital platforms and broadcasts.
Requirements:
Competency in videography, video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere/Final Cut), storytelling, and operating field equipment.
Learning Outcomes:
(1) Multimedia Production: End-to-end skills in pre-production (pitching/scripting), shooting (camera/lighting/audio), and post-production (editing).
(2) Operating professional-grade video/audio equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut) in a news environment.
(3) Visual Storytelling: Learning how to condense complex information into a compelling, visually driven narrative suitable for digital platforms or broadcast.
(4) Shadowing seasoned VJs on assignments and learning how to work effectively on location under time constraints.
