Role Overview: Join The New Paper as an intern and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic newsroom. This role is open to polytechnic and university students with a passion for journalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend events, press conferences, and on-the-ground assignments
Conduct interviews and perform research
Write news and feature articles for print and digital
Shoot and edit photos/videos for multimedia content
Assist with editorial tasks and brainstorm story ideas
Requirements:
Strong writing skills and a good grasp of English
Bold, resourceful, and a go-getter
Ability to conduct interviews and research
Curious, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
Familiarity with photography/videography software (a plus)
