Soma Haus has a strong focus on somatic wellness education. The space and offerings were curated to empower people with the knowledge and body awareness to take charge of their healing journey.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated intern with a curious and creative eye to join our team. You will be largely involved in content creation, planning and execution of Soma Haus' creative campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce photo and video content for marketing campaigns and social media
- Film and edit videos and Reels using relevant applications, ensuring high-quality content.
- Follow specific directions and execute creative according to specific photographic / videography styles and guidelines
- Identify the latest trends on IG Reels and develop storyboards for IG channels.
- Working with the marketing and content team, actively involved in brainstorming content creation, presentations of concepts, and research on trends and directions.
- Enhance and colour-grade basic images for social media platforms.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Possess a foundational understanding of creating social media content, demonstrated through personal social media channels or previous internships
- Familiarity with essential social media content strategies, including the ability to craft integrated content across various platforms
- Passion for health and wellness
- Proficient in photography/videography techniques, including lighting, audio/video editing, graphic design
- Design / Editing skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, i movie or mobile applications suitable for social media content creation
- Savvy with social media & advertising platforms; dedicate at least one hour daily to stay abreast of TikTok trends and grasp TikTok content strategies
- Display meticulous attention to detail in content creation and evaluation for social media platforms
GOOD-TO-HAVE:
- Creative, idea generator, attentive to details and responsible working style
- Good Communicator. Have a strong command of English - written and spoken
- Enthusiastic social media user with a knack for producing viral content on personal channels
- Understanding of the IG Reels algorithm to optimise content performance.
- Self-learner with drive and initiative to take on new tasks
- Able to commit for at least 6 months
