Job Description

By being part of the team, you will :

  • Be at the heart of digital issues of the day: "How to communicate better (at the right time and the right place) for a brand and engage his customers?"
  • Participate in the organization of the activity of a business on an international scale with international clients & partners.
  • Be in a daily contact with major partners on Social Media : Social networks (Facebook, Twitter…), buzz monitoring, social video, social listening, ads in aps, community management, strategy, etc.
  • Acquire knowledge in creating content for social media and media buying on social networks
  • Be part of integrated teams in an international Group.

 

Responsibilities

Community and Contest Management
Have an understanding of the social media playbook for each and every client – tone of voice, brand personality, persona of the channel and overall purpose.
Have an understanding of, and be able to execute on community and contest management best practices for clients under management
Respond to fan posts/messages across various scenarios as defined by the social media playbook/processes
Be able to recognize and flag potential crisis scenarios or even individuals that might have an impact on the brand

Paid Media
Executing and setting up of various social media buys
Have an understanding of, and be able to advise on ad units available by the various social media platforms – formats and purpose (e.g. fan growth, video push, app download, click to site, etc.)

Performance Reporting
By working with a Manager, be able to put together monthly reports around the strength of a brand’s social community using insights and analytics information available natively from each platform.
By working with a Manager, be able to consolidate reports with paid media performance where appropriate showing success and learnings where appropriate
Be able to pull out and segment information based on a specific campaign execution if necessary

Content Strategy and Planning
By working with a Manager, be able to devise the social content strategy for clients including volume, frequency and format of posting
Be able to calendar and schedule the various forms/formats of content based on an always-on plan (with or without the support of paid media) or one that is campaign based
Be able to produce an entire editorial calendar across the channels under management (monthly or for a campaign) in support of the content strategy
Be able to write out the copy for social media posts (with and without the assistance of a copywriter) in a style or tonality specific to that channel
Be able to work with creatives/designers to design and conceptualize visual or video posts that feed into the editorial calendar
By working with a Manager, you should be able to identify opportunities for content capture and/or creation that feed into the overall strategy that are outside of the brief or scope or work

Client Management
Be able to build a working relationship with key client contact(s) by fully understanding their needs and expectations around the existing scope of work
Establish key relationships within the client teams that are pivotal in your delivering credible counsel
Be able to maintain deliverable timelines and keep an open channel of communications at all time, and especially flagging potential issues to senior team members where appropriate
Be able to predict and plan for client needs and manage expectations throughout the retainer period

Internal Project Management
Be able to manage a workflow internally around copy and creative where appropriate
Be able to manage the working relationship between the Socialyse and the rest of Havas and/or the rest of the Village where necessary
Showing initiative around processes, quality of work and load sharing

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Knowledge of digital and social media landscape
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Fluency in written and verbal English. Other language is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication and presentation to stakeholders, including management, marketing, creative, production, local agencies and outside vendors
