The Job

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and UAT deliverables.
  • Design, develop and document detailed test plans and cases.
  • Coordinate, manage and track the progress of UAT until completion and ensure alignment of timeline.
  • Execute test cases, document test results, raise and retest defects/bugs till test cases are closed/passed.
  • Provide UAT status reports and updates, and escalate issues that may impact the UAT schedule.
  • Perform sanity checks and regression testing by executing a defined set of test cases to validate basic application flows.
  • Work closely with the IT team to resolve any defects/deviations timely and effectively.
  • Ensuring product quality standards are met.
  • Any other ad hoc matters as assigned.

 

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

  • You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Quality Assurance / Testing, Business Analyst role in a large-scale finance institutions/systems.
  • Expertise in Regression Testing would be highly valuable.
  • Possesses some knowledge in Financial Services/ Trading & Investment Services/ Digital Products & Platforms.
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments.
  • You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments with strong multi-tasking abilities and time management skills.
  • Experienced in using defect management tool JIRA.
  • Self-initiator with good teamwork, interpersonal skills, and keen learning attitude.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required, as there will be regular engagement with China-based counterparts.
