The Job

Key responsibilities areas:

Revenue Generation & New Growth

  • Contribute to developing successful revenue and growth plans to overall sales strategy and company objectives
  • New Growth: New markets, industries outbound sales programs (scope involves end-to-end sales i.e. prospecting to closing
  • Sustain Growth: Inbound lead generation pipeline
  • Oversee and execute the plan with the support of sales consultants
  • Maintain a sales goal-setting structure including;
  • Weekly reports, analysis, recommended corrective course of action and readjustments
  • Work towards monthly sales forecasts by providing recommended actions steps to meet them
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment to hit targets
  • Continuously assess current processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Collaborate to design new processes that are efficient and functions across the organization (i.e.: marketing, product and other sales departments)
  • Support the company’s advancement in technical excellence by providing input into our software development process
  • Support individual consultants to reach their KPI
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
  • Step in to pitch to prospects where needed
  • Recruit, hire, and train new sales members
  • Collect and interpret data to identify patterns and trends using data sets
  • Collaborate alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes
  • Bring new disciplines to the table through
  • Scouting for innovation by screening various sensors and innovation sources.
  • Market studies of (direct & indirect) competitors and focus industries (eg.: e-commerce)
  • Conducting workshops for brainstorming

Ideal Candidate

Key Competencies:

  • Recognized Degree in business. Candidates with extensive relevant work experiences would also be considered.
  • At least 2 years experience in SaaS/Sales Development in a high growth tech/startup/fintech environment
  • Track record of successfully leading a Sales Development team
  • Strong network of relevant existing connections that you can leverage is a big plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of Hubspot and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
