The Job
Our client is looking for a System Integration Engineer to join our team and be responsible for managing, monitoring, and upgrading our systems and infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, maintaining, and supporting the network infrastructure.
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability.
- Recommending infrastructure solutions to meet the business requirements in compliance with IT policy & procedure.
- Providing Level 2 support and troubleshooting as and when required.
- Performing on-site and off-site testing & commissioning.
- Assisting in the technical post sales of IoT services lead deals by our sales, solutions, and product team.
- Identifying improvement needs of partners and providing targeted training.
- Preparing appropriate and competitive system design, application, product selections, listing, and offers/tenders preparation in response to RFQs.
Ideal Candidate
Skills required:
- You possess a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- You have prior experience as a Systems Integration Engineer
- You have experience in supporting multiple applications and network environments
- You have proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux-based environments
- You also have good experience in performance tuning of application stacks such as Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, etc.
- You are proficient in automated operation and maintenance, monitoring tools, and automated deployment tools
- You have experience with virtualization and containerization
- You are able to handle and manage projects.
- You have to manage time for multiple projects.
- You have the ability to work independently while also collaborating with teams.
- You have to work on other duties as directed by the Manager.
