The Job

Our client is seeking a Senior Recruiter with a passion for both technology and Otaku culture to join our high-growth global team. You will play a key role in hiring top-tier talent, particularly Otakus, who share our commitment to revolutionizing the anime and manga streaming experience.

You will be responsible to:

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various roles across the company, from sourcing to offer stage, with a focus on tech and creative positions.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, develop job descriptions, and create recruitment strategies.
• Source and attract top talent, including candidates passionate about anime, and manga, through various channels.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future openings.
• Ensure a smooth candidate experience from interview scheduling through to onboarding.
• Work with recruitment tools to manage and track candidate data effectively.
• Build strong relationships with candidates, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring seamless communication across time zones.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor hiring practices to continuously improve our recruitment strategy.
• Drive recruitment metrics including time to hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a Recruiter, preferably in in-house roles, within a tech company or high-growth startup.
• A strong understanding of Otaku culture and a passion for anime and manga is essential.
• Previous experience recruiting for roles in creative industries or streaming platforms would be preferred.
• Proven track record of recruiting across multiple regions and time zones, ideally within Asia
• Experience with recruitment tools and ATS systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese are required to communicate with our teams and candidates, both in Japan and globally.
• You are result-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• You possess strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• You can work independently and collaborate well with a global team.
