The Job

• Actively pursuing media opportunities
• Developing and executing PR and communications strategies and plans
• Handling media queries and crafting responses to the press and other external stakeholders
• Developing press releases
• Profiling spokespeople from clients of the firm and preparing them for different types of media engagement
• Actively providing opportunities for these spokespeople to communicate with relevant media
• Writing and editing external communication materials such as thought leadership publications, marketing brochures, newsletters, e-publications/website content and other collateral
• Developing content for a variety of social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter as well as Instagram
• Pursuing research coverage and fund management interest for our listed clients;
• Handling research analysts and fund managers queries
• Crafting/developing investor presentations
• Actively pursuing opportunities for our clients’ spokespersons to present and communicate with the investment and business/financial community;
• Writing financial announcements and investment-related materials
• Developing content for online investor websites
• Assist with relevant areas for corporate actions such as Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Reverse Takeovers (RTO), etc.

Ideal Candidate

Key competencies:

• A degree from recognised university
• Passion and knowledge of sustainability and environmental issues
• Good working attitude and team spirit
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good writing and communication skills
• The ideal candidate should have a good attitude, can work well with a team of colleagues, and have good accounting and financial knowledge.
