The Job

As Partnership Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Partner onboarding. This includes engaging with the Partner and coordinating with internal stakeholders on the successful execution of Know Your Customer (KYC), Compliance, Legal, and Technical Integration processes.

Your main objective will be ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our Partner from the moment they agree to use our client's services. This role requires strong customer-centric mentality to deliver a satisfactory experience to our Partner, and stakeholder management skills to ensure adherence to policies and regulations. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the end-to-end process of onboarding a Partner, starting from the point where Partner agrees to our client's proposed solution and the commercials proposed by Sales team. This would include: 
  • Liaising with Partner to obtain required documents for KYC and work with Compliance to ensure proper documentation 
  • Work alongside with Sales (Account Manager) to ensure all necessary agreements and contracts are in place for Partner onboarding 
  • Providing the technical integration documentation (e.g. API documents) and understand Partner’s requirements 
  • Coordinate with internal Product and Engineering teams to manage and oversee Partner’s technical onboarding from UAT to Production 
  • Engaging with Product to understand timeline for enhancements, communicate to Partner and manage Partner’s expectations 
  • Collaborate with Sales (Account Manager) to ensure a seamless transition from onboarding to ongoing Partner relationships 
  • Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks that may impede Partner onboarding, escalating to senior management when necessary 
  • Handle any technical aspects of post-sales account servicing

Ideal Candidate

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, or related disciplines)
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in client / Partner onboarding or related roles
  • Strong and comprehensive knowledge of Fintech industry with a deep understanding of Payments and Financial Services 
  • Strong familiarity with KYC, compliance and technical integration processes for Payments and Financial Services (e.g., AML, PSA etc.). 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external Partners. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving capabilities.
