The Job

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Provide first-level IT support (face-to-face, phone, email, remote support programs).
• Facilitate new user onboarding with the setup of Desktop, Laptop, Mobile Phones, or any IT equipment & conduct IT familiarization training.
• Assist users in the setup & utilization of common IT facilities like printers, video conferences, and audio conference equipment.
• Coordination & follow-up with a service provider, vendor, supplier, contractors etc
• Setup & monitor backups are running
• Ensure the server room & all equipment are working fine.
• Make sure all servers & network equipment are patched with the latest security patches.
• Set up and manage Physical & Virtual servers (VMware & Hyper-V).
• Set up and manage storage.
• Set up & maintain office network infrastructure.
• Assist users with cloud administrations. (O365, Google, etc)
• Conduct BCP/DR exercise.
• Assist in projects like new office setup, relocating the office, retail shop setup, etc.
• Maintain IT inventory (Hardware & Software)

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

• You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Database Administrator, Network Engineer / Systems Engineer or System Administrator role.
• Expertise in Cloud Computing, Routing & Switching, Database Installation, Upgrade & Migration, Database Backup & Recovery and Data Maintenance would be highly valuable.
• You are familiar with Windows and VM operating systems.
• Good knowledge of Cloud Database (AWS, Azure) databases.
• You possess MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) certifications.
• Hands-on experience in Windows 7/10/11
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server administrations
• Hands-on experience in cloud administrations
• Hyper V / VM Ware
• TCP/IP addressing, switching & routing fundamentals
• Microsoft Certification
• Knowledge of basic setup & configuration of Router, Switch, Access-point, and Wireless controller. (CCNA is a plus)
