The Job

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting between a wide range of people with diverse voices, accents and personalities
• Providing parties with clear and exact translations of written materials and interpretations of verbal communication
• Imparting thoughts, purpose, spirit, emotions and tone of speakers from source language into target language
• Honoring outlined ethical codes to ensure sensitive and confidential information remain secure and protected

Ideal Candidate

• You have an excellent bilingual communication (Fluent in Japanese & English) and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) to be able to liaise effectively to different stakeholders across the region
• You are proficient enunciation and pronunciation skills with pleasant voice
• You have good understanding of cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
• You have minimum 2 years of experience in translations and interpretations
• You are comfortable with working on-site and remotely (phone interpreting)
• You have ability to work in fast-paced environment
• You have experienced in Simultaneous Interpreting
• You have experienced in Consecutive Interpreting
