The Job

The Head of Content will be responsible for the editorial direction of the platforms. Besides managing user generated content and moderating the community, the Head of Content will work with the CEO to develop original content ideas to add to the content pillars of the company. 

The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong sense of responsibility, is disciplined, and highly motivated with a good flair for journalism and news stories. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have a native understanding of digital resources to deliver the best to our audiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the editorial growth
• Establishing and executing community management and moderation guidelines 
• Producing excellent original content that is relatable to the audience 
• Assisting in editing of productions, interviews, and various content in single and multi-camera shoots following creative briefs and production direction
• Creating a range of engaging and original digital content such as videos, animations and show reels to be used across a variety of online platforms and social media channels
• Manage a pool of content creators to generate a healthy flow of original content across platforms

Ideal Candidate

• Diploma in Mass Communications, Media Production or related fields
• Ability to create authentic original content independently
• Possesses a journalistic flair or strong background in storytelling 
• Team player with positive attitude and good work ethics
• Detail-oriented and organized
