The Job

• Performing market research, data mining and business intelligence including product-specific financial forecasting
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Review the current financial performance of existing business lines, identifying trends and areas for optimization.
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Consulting with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans
• Perform company-wide financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

The Profile

• You possess a degree in Corporate Finance, Finance, Statistics or Business with relevant work experience.
• You have at least 2 years experience in a similar role within a corporate setting, banking or accounting practices.
• You are well versed in Microsoft Excel and have prior experience in other statistical analysis software
• You have strong analytical and quantitative competency,
• You are detail-oriented and have the ability to identify data patterns
• You are capable of working independently as well as being an effective team player, with initiative and creativity.
• You have good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with people in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
