The Job

This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals eager to embark on an exciting journey in the Built Environment sector.

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (BIM), you will build technical expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) while gaining hands-on experience in creating, coordinating, and managing BIM models. You’ll also contribute to cutting-edge digital delivery in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) projects.

Training & Career Progression

  • Training Program: Up to two months of structured classroom training focused on BIM and CAD applications.
  • On-the-Job Training: Practical exposure to live projects, guided by experienced BIM Engineers and industry trainers.
  • Career Pathway: Clear progression from Trainee BIM Engineer to advanced roles such as BIM Coordinator and BIM Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage 3D BIM models across architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Interpret technical drawings and convert them into accurate digital models or "digital twins."
  • Support clients in the planning, design, construction, and operation phases using BIM tools.
  • Integrate emerging digital technologies to enhance project workflows and innovation.
  • Participate in structured training and earn WSQ-accredited certifications in BIM.

Ideal Candidate

  • You have a degree or diploma in a Built Environment-related field such as Architecture, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or other related disciplines.
