Job Description

We are looking for an organized and creative Videographer to work with our marketing team to plan, film and edit the corporate video. The Videographer's responsibilities include ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available for use, directing other camera operators on set and editing film footage.

To be successful as a Videographer you must be able to understand and envision the storyboard for the corporate video and work creatively to produce the desired product. A good Videographer should stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable.

 

  • Working with the Marketing Team to create, film, edit, and present a corporate video to be completed within 6 months.
  • Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
  • Completes trouble and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assists in repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties.
  • Maintains equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules.
  • Film videos on set or on location
  • Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired
  • Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video
  • Adding computer graphics and special effects to a video
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Organization to manage their time efficiently
  • Ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it into a cohesive story
  • Flexibility and good listening skills
  • Enough patience to wait for the perfect shot
  • Energy and determination
  • Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment
  • Must know computerized tape editing software and equipment
  • Understanding of post-production techniques
  • Can work in a variety of digital venues with software to edit and finish film work
  • Passion—they have to be all about getting the shot

Qualifications:

  • Min. Diploma in related field of study
  • Min. 2 years of experience
  • Expected Salary: $600-1000
