We are seeking a highly meticulous Tax Intern to contribute to the rapid growth of our business in Singapore!
You are an individual with a genuine passion for tax and accounting. You are detail-oriented and take pride in assuming full responsibility for every task you undertake. You are eager to learn and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Position Duties
- Assistance to prepare simple tax computations
- Act as a liaison between clients and handle tax-related communications as required
- Reporting and assisting the tax manager directly to fulfil obligation for YA2023 tax season
- Efficiently navigate the IRAS tax portal to check for Notice of Assessment and download any available Notices, saving them in the appropriate folders
- Verify that clients have made timely and proper payments for their tax liabilities through the IRAS tax portal
- Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as instructed by the team.
Performance Standards
- Preferably studying or has a diploma/ degree in accounting (tax)
- Interest in learning more about corporate tax in Singapore
- Basic understanding and knowledge of corporate income tax
- Good communication skills
- Detail-oriented
