Sinohydro Corporation Limited (Singapore Branch) – Supervisor

Sinohydro is a Chinese state-owned enterprise engaged in hydropower and civil engineering construction. It is a major subsidiary of the Power Construction Corporation of China and is among the world's largest international contractors in the hydropower sector. 

1. Supervise day-to-day activities within a particular construction or workplace

2. Ensure that workers make use of necessary protective equipment like helmets, hand gloves, welding shades etc., where and when necessary

3. Take note of workers’ safety concerns and immediately acts on them

4. Conduct daily inspection and ensure closure to the findings.

5. Receives and acts on reports regarding safety concerns from workers within the construction site/workplace

6. Serves as a link between workers and top management when it comes to issues that have to do with the safety and proper organization of the workplace

7. Ensure compliance to work permits (e.g. confined space, hot work, work at height etc.)

8. Any other duties as assigned by superior.
