Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Housing Operations team in Office of Housing. The team is responsible for the daily operations of the student hostel, staff residences and the Sports & Recreation Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, and review term and ad-hoc service providers’ performance and ensure their compliance to contracts
  • Review breakdowns, faults and take corrective/preventive action.
  • Attend to complaints, feedback and requests
  • Ensure users and residents’ compliance to rules and regulations.
  • Carry out inspection of facilities, blocks, and rooms.
  • Conduct investigation of incidents.
  • Ensure security and safety of the property, residents, and users, including crafting and implementing security and safety procedures and conducting emergency exercises
  • Ensure all documentation and processes comply with Standard Operating Procedures as well as to review, update and improve them
  • Support events and activities, which may be outside of office hours and on weekends
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

  • Diploma undergraduate in Facilities Management, Real Estate or other relevant discipline
  • Observant and detail-oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently 
  • Proactive team player with positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
