JOB PURPOSE: The intern will provide administrative and operational support to Community Health on Wheels (CHoW) under the Community Services Department.
COMMUNITY HEALTH ON WHEELS (CHoW)
About the programme: Community Health on Wheels (CHoW) is a volunteer-led, community-based mobile healthcare programme that brings free and basic health services to the marginalised, and in the heartlands. It focuses on the needs of the migrant community and elderly population through mental wellness activities, health education and basic health screenings.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Research Project
● Research on the needs of the target groups of CHoW (i.e. migrant community and senior citizens) to curate targeted activities suited for them.
● Research on the effectiveness of the current initiatives on the ground for the target groups
Administrative and Operation Support
● Assist in responding to queries regarding CHoW
● Assist in conducting activities for physical and online events if required
Any Other Duties
● Undertake or Participate in department and society events or activities
● Any other ad-hoc projects
