Responsible for ensuring that good received into and/or sent out from the Company are in good condition, and corresponds with the correct paperwork. This is to ensure accurate inventory and records are maintained and all deliveries are correctly dispatched on a first-time basis.
Controls and monitors the movement of all inventory items and ensures that inventory items are available when required.
Responsible for all incoming deliveries and shipments and ensure that all items received are done in a safe and controlled manner.
To arrange and put stock and items away in accordance with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures. This includes:
Unloading of goods;
Receiving and scanning incoming goods and checking against the orders made;
Inspecting all incoming items for damage;
Move good around the Central Kitchen and Warehouse areas;
Stocking the shelves;
Stacking all bulky goods in a safe manner;
Picking goods from shelves and recording their movements;
Packing and sending orders to customers;
Handle the Central Kitchen rubbish and waste disposal;
Responsible for the safe keeping of all stock located within the Central Kitchen and Warehouse.
Assist with the general Warehouse functions and operations.
To perform routine and ad-hoc stock checks as required.
Maintain a safe, clean and tidy condition within the Warehouse area, as well as its surrounding areas.
Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.
