Job Description

Summary: Support IoT MCU products development from product definition to design validation and silicon characterization.

Essential Functions:

  • Participates in product definition and chip design validation
  • Designs and debugs mixed signal MCU validation boards
  • Maintain and develop automated silicon characterization infrastructure
  • Generates technical documentation (e.g. test plans, datasheets, application notes).


Education and/or Experience: 

A Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and <1 year of related experience.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and methodologies
  • Strong analog and digital circuit analysis skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems, circuits, and devices
  • Knowledge of proper and effective use of lab test equipment
  • Embedded systems background or course work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and well organized

Desirable Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug firmware and software
  • Familiarity with circuit-level (PCB) design and schematic capture
  • Knowledge of software programming tools (C, Python, Assembly language)
  • Knowledgeable in software structures and code refactoring
  • Technical documentation authoring and editing abilities
