Siftee is a VC-backed data and research marketplace where you can search, validate and download specific insights from nearly 500,000 free and paid data sources, down to the metadata level.
Founded by ex-McKinsey and Salesforce executives, their vision is to help consultants and analysts become more productive and improve the quality of their insights.
The ideal candidate loves beautiful designs with clear opinions on user interfaces and experience. Ideally they would have experience in creating, maintaining, and updating websites in a variety of industries.
Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web applications and services is essential for succeeding in this role. The web developer will have an immediate impact on our product and customers, and will bring to life our vision of increased productivity and work quality.
Objectives of this role
- Create well-designed and tested code using best practices for web development, including for responsive design and mobile display
- Create websites and interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices, and incorporate data from back-end databases and services
- Develop or validate testing schedules that address all browsers and devices, ensuring web content can be accessed on any computer
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies
Responsibilities
Event Tracking and Conversions
- Configure Siftee.io to identify and track important events and conversions within the platform.
- Implement event tracking to capture user interactions and behaviors.
Integration of Customer.io
- Integrate Customer.io (similar to Mailchimp) into our system for automated email communication.
- Set up personalized email sequences based on user actions and progress on the site.
Optimal Configuration of Google Analytics 4:
- Configure Google Analytics 4 for Siftee.io to gather valuable insights.
- Set up tracking for relevant events and conversions.
- Generate reports that provide valuable data for decision-making.
Building SEO Pages:
- Work with Siftee's backend list of 500k data sources to create SEO-driven landing pages.
- Develop use case pages that highlight the benefits of our platform and its data sources.
Required skills and qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with analytics and CRM tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
