Shin Minori Japanese Restaurant first outlet was opened at UE Square in 2007, and their second outlet at Katong Square was opened in 2017. The family friendly restaurant is started by Angeline Wong, familiarly known as part of the team behind Hanabi since early 2000, the Japanese restaurant at Bukit Timah and Odeon Towers.
