SG Alliance Pte Ltd – Social Media Intern

WAV is a Financial Adviser Representative group under SG Alliance. We’re growing our presence on social media, and we want to make financial planning approachable, relatable and worth watching. You’ll be creating content for an industry that badly needs better content.

You’ll be part of the content team from idea to upload. Expect real ownership, not just scheduling posts.

What you’ll do

• Brainstorm and pitch content ideas, and help shape our monthly content strategy and calendar
• Script, plan and film short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms as we grow)
• Handle pre-production (scripting, shot lists, locations, props) and take part in post-production
• Work alongside a full-time editor who supports post-production, so you’re never left to figure it out alone
• Keep an eye on trends, competitors and platform changes, and turn them into content ideas
• Track basic performance (views, engagement, follower growth) and tell us what’s working
• Work with our advisers to turn financial topics into content people actually understand

What we’re looking for

• Currently studying at a polytechnic or university, or recently graduated, in Mass Communications, Marketing, Media, Business or a related field (all backgrounds welcome)
• Comfortable on both sides of the camera, and keen to learn
• Hands-on with short-form video: filming, and basic editing is a plus (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Good understanding of social media culture and what makes people stop scrolling
• Clear, engaging writing for captions, hooks and scripts
• Curious, proactive and happy to share ideas
• A portfolio or links to content you’ve created (personal accounts, school projects, anything) is highly encouraged
• No finance background needed
