The intern will be based with the Company’s Professional Services team, tasked to support a team of application engineers and project managers on key client matters to create an accentuated business impact through robust solutioning.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with the team to ideate, conceptualize and curate pre-built solutions for clients
- Support the team in all aspects surrounding existing and potential client projects
- Partakes in any other projects and/or tasks as assigned
LEARNING OUTCOMES & OBJECTIVES
- Exposure to designing, developing and maintaining microservices
- Exposure to Full Stack Development from Frontend Development to Backend Development
- Development of Application in a Team
- Standard Software Practices - versioning, documentation
- Practical Application of Coding Languages (Python, Typescript, VueJS, etc.)
- Contribution to delivery of a software project
ARCHETYPES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- Good tertiary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or related fields.
- Excellent technical and programming skills are a must.
- Strong linguistic skills in both written and spoken English. Other languages would be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a knack to connect and interface with stakeholders across all levels
- A meticulous self starter who is exceptionally organized
- Familiarity with Google Kubernetes Engine, Docker etc is a plus
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Software development related tools: Python, Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Webservices (Google Cloud Platform, Rest, and SOAP)
- Storage/Database management related tools: NoSQL, MySQL
- Versioning tools: Github
- Other technical knowledge: Nodejs, Linux/Unix Systems, Sockets, Axois, VueJs, JSON, API
