Seletar Country Club – Intern (Sports & Social)

Set in the heart of Singapore’s countryside, Seletar Country Club offers a wonderful blend of private club lifestyle and vibrant family fun rolled into one. Rolling acres of lush greenery and proximity to the Lower Seletar Reservoir allow members to indulge in both golf and sailing activities, and experience a oneness with nature that belies its urban backdrop.

Primary Objective

• Learn to experience the management of sports & social operations, events and activities of a country club
• Assist the department to ensure the smooth running of operations & events as and when required by the Executive/Manager

Job Responsibilities

Daily

• Submit hard copy returns from reception counters to the accounts department
• Assist the department with facilities management of all sports & social facilities
• Assist the department with data entry for operations and events

Weekly

• Every Monday
  - Stock check inventory at main reception, bowling alley and sports complex counters for operational
  usage (To highlight to Executive for any procurement)
• Every Wednesday
  - To update, print and submit the Club Tennis Night registration form
  - Ensure tennis balls are available at to the sports complex counter for Club Tennis Night

Monthly

• Assist the Executive with month end billings

Adhoc

• Memos
• Procurements
• Administrative work such as printing, photo copying, filing
• General Logistics
• Cover reception duties if needed

Events & Activities

• To assist the department with;
• The club’s Christmas Decoration (October 2021 – November 2021)
• Halloween Decoration (October 2021)
• S&S Work Projects, Led by Projects (November - December 2021)
• Tear Down of Christmas Decoration & start of CNY deco (January 2021)
• Festive Events & Activities
• End of year Events/Activities
• Sports Tournament/Activities
• Baking and Craft Workshops
