Job Description
As a Graphic Designer at Scenestealer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning materials that enhance the overall experience of our events. You will collaborate closely with our sales and operations team to fulfil clients' objectives and effectively communicate key messages while capturing the essence of every event design and collateral.
Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in delivering high-quality designs that exceed our clients' expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design event collaterals materials, including event invitations, posters, banners, signage, and digital assets, that align with the event theme, brand guidelines, and client preferences
- Conceptualise creative design concepts and ideas for pitches
- Create eye-catching social media graphics, email newsletters, and online advertisements to promote upcoming events and boost attendance
- Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders to refine designs and ensure they meet the desired objectives and specifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity
- Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements to continuously improve design processes and deliver innovative solutions
- Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and suppliers to ensure the successful production and delivery of print collaterals for events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a graphic designer
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including print and digital materials, event branding, and promotional campaigns
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients to understand their needs and deliver compelling design solutions
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and visual aesthetics
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of printing processes, materials, and specifications, and experience liaising with vendors for production and fulfilment
