Job Description

We are looking for creative and proactive individuals to join our growing team. You would be reporting directly to the management and play a pivotal role in the expansionary plans of ScaleStack by sourcing for new partners/investors.

As a corporate finance and strategic consultancy trainee, you will be expected to be proficient in financial modelling as you will have to perform data analysis. Also, you should have excellent communication skills to pitch effectively to potential partners/investors.

Learning objectives:

  • Acquire management skills via managing client relationships effectively from the pre-sales to post-sales stage

  • Hone your communication and negotiation skills via successfully forging client relationships and negotiating the best terms for the company

  • Learn how to apply knowledge of financial models to perform complex analysis using tools such as Excel

Responsibilities: 

  • Build financial models using historical data and provide forecasts to aid in decision making 

  • Conduct scenario analysis based on factors that would affect risk and recommend actions to mitigate the risks

  • Build a database of potential partners/investors by reaching out to them

  • Forging and managing relationships with potential partners/investors

  • Negotiate the initial terms and conditions when forming a partnership

  • Perform administrative duties such as following up with clients from the pre-sales stage to the post-sales stage

  • Assist in fundraising efforts 

 

Requirements:

  • University student/graduate

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • An analytical mind

  • Proficient in financial modelling

  • Proactive and able to perform with minimal supervision
