SATA CommHealth – Fund Raising Intern

We are a charity organization that reaches out to the needy and elderly. We have been serving the community since 1947 and we are in the healthcare sector. We are active online to promote our cause, hence we are now looking for highly enthusiastic and motivated interns to help us reach out to more people. We would like to invite individuals that are savvy in social media, creative and has an out-going personality to join our team.

The objectives of this role is to help us raise more funds so that we can help more needy elderly in Singapore. Additionally, we hope the successful candidate can also help us promote our brand to the different segments people within the community.

As an intern, you will be assigned to work with our corporate communications team. You are encouraged to share your ideas freely. As our online fundraising and branding campaigns relies on organic and non-organic strategies, you will be exposed to learn new skills that will enhance your working experience and value add to your resume. We will also share with you some of our SEO and SEM techniques.

Through this internship we hope to value add to you with the following skill sets :

• · Perform business analysis of potential clients and business streams
• · Get a broad understanding on how charities in Singapore operate
• · Get an insight into fundraising operations including starting an online campaign
• · Gain knowledge in social media marketing and ways to strategise to appeal to various segments of the public
