PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP’s Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) team positions SAP and its leaders as innovators with influential audiences on select, highly relevant topics. Our strategy is to disrupt the information environment with relentless curiosity, compelling content, and rapid execution.
As a member of the SEA Corporate Affairs team, you will be exposed to different aspects of SAP’s corporate affairs function such as media relations, industry analyst relations, executive communications, employee communications and corporate social responsibility. The goal of the stint is to provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience from working on integrated communications projects for the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. Representing the 7th largest economy globally, SEA is made up of key markets like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam and is one of the largest market units and growth engines in SAP Asia Pacific Japan.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The successful candidate will play an active role in the planning and execution of external and internal communications activities. You will participate in the conceptualization and implementation of communication campaigns, content generation for traditional and social media channels online and in the process, gain insights to the global communications field of work in a multinational organization.
Examples of your day-to-day responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:  • Creation and distribution of content like media pitches, press releases, byliners, blogs, infographics, videos, internal announcements and executive briefing documents   • Researching industry trends and speaking engagement opportunities • Drafting speeches • Staffing internal and external communication events • Reporting and analysis
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES


We are looking for candidates who dare to challenge conventional wisdom, offer unique perspectives and conceive innovative solutions to effectively bridge the communication gap with influential audiences.

• Pursuing a degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, Political Science, Business or related fields  • Meticulous oral and written English skills • Strong interpersonal skills  • Prior experience in communications, marketing, design or video production will be an advantage
