Rutledge Omni Services Pte Ltd – Legal Executive

An established group of companies with international presence in several territories is seeking a meticulous professional.

The professional will be responsible for the following:

• Provide legal advice and support to its group of companies and subsidiaries in various parts of the world.
• Draft, review, and advise on various commercial and transnational agreements.
• Implementing and improving legal department’s internal processes including creating contract templates and drafting of internal policies.
• Ensure legal compliance to local laws, group policies and regulatory / statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with the PDPA through developing, implementing and enforcing policies and processes for handling personal data.
• Foster a data protection culture among employees by conducting scheduled training for employees and dispensing PDPA advice.
• Maintain and ensure legal system data are up to date.
• Liaise and coordinate with external corporate secretary or law firms whenever necessary.
• Participating in other projects and business ventures as required.

Requirements:

• Law Degree (LLB or JD)
• At least with 2- 3 years’ experience in legal work (preferably in-house).
• Keen attention to details, with demonstrated maturity and independence.
• Strong and concise drafting skills and commercial savviness are pre-requisition
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication and English Language skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
• Possess strong work ethics, good organisation skills and ability to multi-task.
• Good Legal research skills, including for foreign jurisdictions.
