Job Description

Overview

The Direct Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling the company’s products and services directly to customers. This is a hands-on, target-driven role that involves identifying prospects, conducting sales presentations, closing deals, and building long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

* Core Sales Activities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and events.
  • Product Presentation & Demonstration: Conduct tailored product presentations and demonstrations to highlight the value and benefits to customers.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Discuss pricing, contract terms, and proposals to successfully close sales deals.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas.

* Customer Relationship Management

  • Understand Customer Needs: Engage customers to identify their needs, challenges, and buying motivations.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and sustained loyalty.
  • Address Concerns: Manage customer objections and inquiries with professionalism and provide prompt resolution.

* Reporting & Strategy

  • Sales Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales performance reports and share market insights with management.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on product knowledge, competitors, and industry trends to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and internal teams to align on lead-generation efforts and sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct sales or similar target-driven roles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor or non-retail settings (if applicable).

Compensation

  • Base Salary: Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
  • Commission/Bonus: Performance-based variable compensation tied to sales targets
