(Rongsheng Petrochemical Singapore) was incorporated on January 2015.  Being the sole trading platform outside China under parent company Rongsheng Holding Group, the key business is trading, including import of crude oil, refined oil and petrochemical products, and third-party re-export. At the same time, Rongsheng Petrochemical Singapore leverage on is physical flows to hedge Rongsheng Holding Group’s price risk.   The company also serve as a platform for Rongsheng Holding Group’s financing and foreign investment activities.

Job Description
  • Monthly reconciliation of open position with all counterparties (eg, check completeness and accuracy of all deals).
  • Monitor and report daily margin/credit status and responsible for payment process when margin call required.
  • Monthly realisation settlement processes including preparation on invoices; confirmation of settlement and remittance.
  • In charge of payments for broker commission invoices.
  • Maintain desk procedures and documentation.
  • Prepare monthly risk system data vs finance record reconciliations.
  • Provide various reports during the month to Trading, Risk and Finance team. Interact with Trading and risk management team to resolve data or report issues in due course.
  • Work with internal and external auditors, as well as support provided to the audit process.
  • In charge of threshold negotiation with counterparties and optimising margins.
  • Work with risk management team on stress testing and report, if needed.
  • Ad hoc projects as required.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Accountancy, Banking & Finance or equivalent with strong excel knowledge.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in managing derivatives settlement procedures, along with a comprehension of the trade life cycle in the field of oil trading or a related industry, would be an added advantage.
  • An excellent team player.
  • Able to read/write/speak and is proficient in both English and Mandarin as the role requires communication with headquarters in China and other Chinese counterparts.
